I like how Wilkerson seems to follow everything! His knowledge and scope are way beyond the military matters.
But even he bought in to the Iraq war only 20,25 years ago - which he just agreed was “stupid”.
Joe Kent turned tail when his Syrian wife was killed.
Shows the power of militarism and politics to corrupt. It’s okay when its other people’s dead relatives, as long as you are insulated from it and don’t have to face them.

Larry Johnson went in all guns blazing for Tulsi Gabbard. She issued an emollient and very subtle tweet to the effect “Trump is Trump” when, if she had any honour, according to Larry, she should have backed Kent and committed seppuku right away.
Whereas I’d surmise, and I might be besotted with her sweet smile I admit, that Mz Gabbard, and JD, are looking a few months down the line when, um, Trump won’t be Trump.
Not to imply this will signal a change in US strategy (burn everything) but if it means less than one new war per week we’ll probably feel thankful. Sigh.

Reality is probably they hadn’t thought of that excuse at the beginning.
Probably none of them took the decision but the system should be able to at least force somebody to either take the rap or spill the beans.

I only saw transcripts of her sophistry (subsequent to the terse version she tweeted out). But I gather she was doing that performative “I dare not say” schtick?
Probably very wise because the number one script right now is kill first ask questions later (but only the foreordained questions, naturally).
