What a scary post. Imagine the stories and outrage we’d be subjected to if this was all happening in Russia.
The mask is definitely slipping here. I fear that Brexit will only make this entire bad situation worse. Rising xenophobia, rising nationalism and the certainty of a hard Brexit, with the economic fallout that will result all points to a very unsettled atmosphere in England. I’m sure that the government and the police will respond by getting more and more hard-line (like our American role models). We’re going to regret losing access to the European Court of Human Rights…
