I watched most of the podcast last night and was very impressed indeed by Joe Sacco. I must rewatch the last twenty mins or so where they may well have discussed this collaboration.
It’s a handsome book and looks like a good one to dip into and out of. The text is punctuated with Joe Sacco comics across three or more pages.
So thanks for alerting me to this Aly. (I’ve been deep into reading about synchronicity and coincidence over the last few months, this feels like a neat example.)

Glad you liked the interview, bwana. Sacco is excellent, as is Hedges.
I have that book, as it happens. Like a lot of stuff by Hedges I found it really heartbreaking to read.
I’m glad that we have good people who have the courage to look at things as they are and tell the rest of us…
