Canada, the Commonwealth, a different view of the world, fascinating stuff

Hi folks, I posted this as a separate topic as it falls between the Fuellmich review and the crisis in Canada.

I have had no exposure to the history of Canada but I do recall Australia’s sudden meeting with political reality :

Novmeber 11, 1975: Gough Whitlam dismissed as prime minister

Australia failed in 1975 and later elections to use the exercise of Crown claws as a means to walk away from empire ties towards democracy. They continue to pay the price.

Today maybe that Whitlam moment is Canada’s future, but how many Canadians understand it?

Interesting… the fact that much of the coronavirus hysteria has been confined to “crown” territories and territories of old has been so noteworthy. Could there be a clue in the name?
