Meryl Nass’ five minutes on Fauci.
Who better to sum it up…
ED
Meryl Nass with Tony Lyons.
The Gates foundation gave NIH over $1/2bn, and during Covid Fauci had bi-weekly calls with Bill Gates. Federal research funds were seemingly directed towards areas of interest…for Bill Gates.
The year Fauci was head of NIAID, Congress allowed federal scientists and their agencies to collect royalties from private companies that licensed their patents on discoveries that were made on the taxpayers dime. Between 2009 and 2021, Fauci’s NIAID received over $325m in royalties; and in 2022, he recieved $400m, his agency, from Moderna alone.
Now Fauci was legally allowed to use this money as he pleased, there was no requirement to report to Congress what was going on. Basically he had turned NIAID into a form of incubator.
He sent his nurse wife to graduate in ethics so she could approve his questionable ethics. He justified gain of function research to turn bird flu into a transmissible disease in birds, which are used as the closest disease model to humans. Everyone agrees this was a very dangerous form of research, and he paid for it in two different institutions.
He was an accomplished liar, he pushed for school closures for instance, but denied it; he pushed for distance but later admitted there was no science to support it.
What he did to hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin was in my opinion a crime against humanity. Both drugs have an incredible safety profile and yet he created fake science and he shut down two clinical trials that he promised to run for hydroxychloroquine when the drug started to look like it was really helpful. He ignored evidence that other people had developed, and he used fraud to push Remdesivir. He packed the NIH guidelines committee with people who were financially entangled with Gilead, the makers of Remdesivir, which is why Remdesivir has been used on hundreds of thousands of Americans for very little if any benefit, and lots of harm.
His entire career at NIAID, the agency was funding Ralph Barac to do coronavirus research, to the tune of $289m cumulatively, and we don’t know why there was so much interest in coronaviruses for all that time; when all they did for much of it was cause a cold.
He was the midwife of the Proximal Origins paper. You can spend hours talking about all the terrible things this man did, he spend $40bn fiddling around with HIV and AIDS, and never came up with a vaccine or a curative drug. How he managed to remain in place for so long, is he kissed up and he kicked down, and hopefully now, he will finally get his comeuppance.
