Beautiful aurora display last night in cambs

I was out in my pjs shivering in the cold and watching the most beautiful colours ripple in the sky. Here’s a random pic from a fellow resident to give you some idea. Did anyone else get a chance to see the aurora yesterday?

Apparently a good chance for another display tonight around 11…it’s the second time I’ve seen them here in Cambs in the last few months. Spectacular.

Yes, I had a slightly washed-out version here in Northumbria. Pics from Newbiggin-by-the-sea, less than 4 miles from here, were spectacular. Mine less so but quite a lot of light pollution. This was from my back yard.

I don’t know what the white streaks are.
