BBC: It's not all bad for brown people to be bombed, you know - but we will self-flagellate if we hear the N-word

We have known since Iraq on 2003 that any excuse for bombing brown people will do. The massacre in Fallujah ‘to make it safe for elections’. These excuses went largely unchallenged in most of the mainstream media.

Inside Iran, panic as strikes hit but for some it’s a moment of relief

Bowen: A dangerous moment, but US and Israel see opportunity not to be missed

Are the BBC telling us it’s dangerous for Iran? No, that obvious fact doesn’t matter.
It’s dangerous for the warmongers, whose viewpoint the BBC is putting.

OK that was a bit of a rant but that’s kind of the jumbled order in which things come in when you tune into the MSM.

This morning it’s Sunday, spiritual day for supposedly thoughtful radio programmes.
BBC presenter mulling over the consequences of war…have to consider todays news…it’s so COMPLICATED to understand…an attack on another country that has not attacked anyone.

Presenter then mentioned the bombing of the Iranian school killing up to 160. Yes we must consider the UNINTENDED consequences of war.

Eh? Plane flies. bombs released, they fall, they explode. The target is a school. Children die and are maimed. What was unintended?

Answer - nothing. The intended consequence, apart from killing children, is presumably to enrage the rest of the Iranian people.

But hey, at least the BBC is not enraged, and certainly not on a Sunday.

If Iranians express their anger about murderous US actions - terrorist actions, surely? - the BBC is sure to present the Iranian government as the target of the anger; it’s already giving the regime change ‘justification’ for the attack on Iran a barely concealed welcome. It was promoting this while Trump was citing threats to the American people from Iran’s supposed nuclear programme, which it has been offering up for inspections.

But in it’s considerations, the BBC as a group hasn’t considered Trump’s STATED reasons for bombing innocent people. Where’s that fact checker they keep boasting about.

I’m guessing that the targeting of the people they knew would have to convene, the martyred ones in other words, having said they’d get back together after the weekend, has been incidental to the BBC et al?

What exactly is the official justification for this?

The same trick last June. The same trick when urging Putin to stay close by and we’ll get back to you, so Trump could “confer with Zelensky”. Then the drone swarm.

The same trick to kill Nasrallah.

Maintaining any diplomatic engagement with the West is so clearly the road to them murdering you. Contradicting their insane rhetoric likewise.

The official explanation is silence but the beeb did show the Sopranos

Thanks for putting up the score

Yeah as soon as they know where you are, it’s time to move.

US-Israel war on Iran ‘decided weeks ago’ under cover of nuclear talks: Report

A planning document from 2009 suggested the US or Israel launch a regime change war Iran while using the pretext of negotiations to deflect blame on to Tehran

The unprovoked US-Israeli war against Iran launched on 28 February had “been planned for months, and the launch date decided weeks ago,” even as the US and Iran carried out indirect nuclear negotiations, an Israeli defense official told Reuters.

Washington and Tel Aviv renewed negotiations in February over Iran’s nuclear program. President Trump was under pressure from Israel force Iran to give up uranium enrichment, as well as its ballistic missile program and support for regional resistance forces.

Amid the negotiations, Trump sent an “armada” of US naval ships and warplanes to the region, threatening to launch an attack if officials in Tehran refused to make a deal.

After the latest round of talks on Thursday, a senior US official told Axios the talks were “positive.”

Omani Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi, who mediated the talks, said the talks had shown “significant progress.”

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi also expressed optimism, saying both sides had shown a “clear seriousness” about getting a deal.

However, the US and Israel launched large-scale attacks against Iranian targets early Saturday, suggesting the negotiations had never been serious.

In the wake of the attacks, Omani Foreign Minister Albusaidi said that the negotiations he mediated had been “deliberately undermined.”

Not just undermined - a ruse all along. Talks likely used to gather intelligence for the next hit on Iran’s leaders.

The BBC still seems to be unable to find Iranians who do not want to be bombed.

We’ve been speaking to Iranians during one week of war. Here’s what they said

This “conflicted feelings” is attributed to a UK-cased cousin of an Iranian who had spokento the BBC:

"I hate wars, I don’t want a single innocent human being killed or harmed no matter which side they are on, but I’m jumping for joy at the news of the attacks this morning.

Is this real? Jumping for joy is not conflicted feelings.

Prof,. Mirandi told us there was massive support for the govt, numbering thousands in each of five or six of Tehran’s big squares. This seemed to be confirmed in videos.

And Col Doug McGregor, interviewed here, gives a different story of the protests at the end of last year from the one the BBC relentlessly pushes

The Col. says that Mossad intervened in Jan 2026 after initial protests that the Iranian govt was responding to, having admitted some mismanagement (as is known).
40,000 of Elon Musks Starlight stations were given out. Mossad was giving out weapons in the streets, telling people to kill police - 400 police were killed.
It was made to look like an uprising when it wasn’t.
Iran managed to put this down thanks to Russian and Chinese intelligence. The regime then took down the Starlights.

I did see a US official boasting that there were a lot of CIA and Mossad agents involved. He said this expressly to Iranians protestors to assure them - falsely - that there was US and Israeli support for them.

The BBC admits in the article that Iran has “large numbers of die-hard supporters”.

So how come it was unable to reach ANY of them for a comment? It’s not as if they would be afraid of the government.

lol it’s about as convincing as the polls suggesting about one third of voters don’t know if they approve, or not, the Ramadan War.

How can you not know what side you are on?

Clearly no one wants to be seen to be exulting about Jews getting burned, so they don’t know.

According to George Galloway, the US is planning a “tactical” nuke, flying out from the UK.

Watch from 15 minutes.

Netanyahu made this threat/warning/promise before, was this the same occasion? Speaking to the Knesset in Hebrew, with the camera rolling? Probably.

It’s understandable that things can escalate but the situation Israel and the US are in now seems to have been completely predictable, except for those reading the information through a heavy filter.

As I may have said before it’s hard to see what Israel is playing at; there isn’t much surprise at Iran’s uber-robust response to its attack, and it was not obvious that Israel could withstand that; so what was its Plan B? And the White House warheaders?

If this is their intent now, it must have been all along. Ending Iran as a force in the region by hook or by crook - and if maybe somehow they won the war against the Iranian leadership (that is to say, against almost all the Iranian people) and thereby spared the very worst, so much the better for them. But now it seems we are where we are.

This is a terrible threat albeit, fror the moment, far away. In terms of the blame, from a personal point of view the worst thing about this is you can’t just put it down to a few insane criminals in the White House and Israel. Despite not being crazy, western governments, politicians, parties, media and institutions have offered willing, almost slobbering political support to what is, for anyone with a semblance of a brain and conscience, pure evil. We have the concurrent Palestinaian genocide in Gaza as another example.

Given the intent seems to beat a path towards Russia and China its hard to see them standing still. Galloway offers a reasoned guess at Russia’s ‘best move’, after such an attack - step on to the brink with a protective threat of its own. It’s obvious that the crazies do not intend to stop there anyway.

Guess it may not happen but at the moment I can’t see what’s in the way of it.
Galloway’s suggestion may not be the only option; Russia could make the same move (Galloway;s suggestion was that Russia might extend the nuclear umbrella to Iran) in advance of any nuclear attack on Iran.

As Putin is not known for messing about, that would normally stop the thing in its tracks. But of course you can’t predict anything with these crazies, who, void any real human concern, see little at stake but their own stupid power games.

A possible excuse might be brewing. “Troops on the ground” being openly talked about amidst some related deployments. All the analysts say large scale troop landings and engagement are not feasible.
But what an excuse that would give for the US for NW use when they get their fingers burned. To avoid even greater bloodshed, the excuse that was given for Hiroshima.
Protecting Americans - who do not of course need to be there in the first place.

But I don’t see how it will protect Israel from being flattened by Iran’s response, which they have promised to make should a nuclear weapon be used. .

Thanks @PatB. The whole 18m is interesting.
GG also tells us that the bomb that hit the girls’ school was a US one and came from Bahrain (acutally out of the bag, that one).
The media accusing Iran of indiscriminately attacking Gulf neighbours basically have had no regard for the truth. Iran probably knew where the missile came from. Bahrain is where most of the US firepower is.
According to GG the ‘King’ of Bahrain has fled and the government has or is about to come down.
