Israel-Gaza: Rockets pound Israel after militants killed

image

I pasted that image as it’s currently on the BBC home page with the headline above, and may change.

Is this a picture of Palestinian rockets pounding Israel?
Who killed those ‘militants’ or did they just kind of get killed?
And is Israel only killing militants then?
(No) “At least 65 people in Gaza, including 14 children, and seven people in Israel have been killed since then.”

Familiar stuff I guess.

On current corrupt form amongst the ‘news’ outfits, that picture could have come from anywhere in the world. In any case, the size of the explosions is much bigger than what would be expected from the “enhanced fireworks” that are about as much as the poor sods in Gaza can manage.

These days I have real difficulty even following Israhell Palestine news. I am so sickened by everything, from the criminal Israeli government, the fascist Jews, many of whom escaped fascism in Europe, Trump’s son-in-laws “new deal”, and the news media especially the British Bulls*t Corporation, that to preserve some semblence of mental stability, I prefer to skip over it.

Yes, v familiar - I’m no expert, but I reckon if you detonated 100 Palestinian ‘rockets’ simultaneously they wouldn’t produce an explosion like the one depicted. Yet again, it’s all about the drive to convince casual viewers that there is an equivalence here. Hartley-brewer and I Collins on Talk Radio have been hammering the ‘full blown war’ line throughout the day - again, as though the embattled Palestinians could even begin to fight on a level footing. No doubt other ‘news’ outlets are parroting that line - it deffo has the whiff of a talking point that has been issued. Apparently there is currently some move to launch another ground invasion into Gaza - so expect the ‘Dahiya Strategy’ again.

I wrote an article some years ago for the Palestine Chronicle where I discussed the imbalance in the “war” fairy tales. A key point was Israhell spends more per capita on “defense” than the average annual per capita income of a Palestinian.

That’s some balance and yet the media keep up the pretence. However I did take a small amount of solice from the Finklestein interview.

Hi @NewSi , I recall comparisons of damage some time ago

as the 2 Daves put it:

The MSM will follow orders and use the contrived conflict and all Palestinian retaliation to bury even a whisper of the Human Rights report on Apartheid Israel and B’tselem’s earlier report.
