I’m not actually an Aussie RG, though before long I mightn’t be a Pom either as they cancel my passport…for publicising FCO documents. But Byron Bay and its cousin Nimbin are the original hippie hang-outs, hardly changed since the seventies. They may be permanently stoned but they still have some ordinary common sense, as well as a refusal to stop shaking hands and mask up. I meet a few ordinary people who agree with me, as I go round talking to strangers and encouraging them to RESIST. Recently the Vic government extended the emergency laws till the end of the year, despite ZERO cases. Which means that if I DO get into an argument I could end up being fined for causing a public nuisance, and for refusing to wear a mask.
But most people have no idea. Today there was a big discussion because the AZ vaccine was suspended by two countries. No-one seemed to have heard there could be nasty side effects. Honestly! Even though we heard how 30 people died after Pfizer in Norway, though they were old and sick…
