Who is representing the Palestinians at the peace talks?

Trump wants a war with Venezuela
Donald Trump admitted in 2023 that, in his first term as US president, he tried to overthrow Venezuela’s government and pillage its oil:

“We would have taken [Venezuela] over. We would have gotten all that oil. It would have been right next door”.

Viceroy Blair is still counting his money after re-colonising Iraq using a complete fabrication, and causing a million deaths. His estimate of the value of Arab lives will be invaluable.

The world talks excitedly about ‘peace’ but Hamas is only mentioned in two contexts - the 7/10 attacks, and that they will not play a part in the future of a Palestinian state, should there be one.

Trump is quietly backpedalling on his Palestinian Riviera wheeze. It’s not the moment, especially as international help will pay for the rebuilding of Gaza first.

There is no telling what will actually be agreed, and a peace deal may not happen at all - but western media nevertheless agrees that Trump has been brilliant.

Peace talks? If I had a 12 year old daughter, I’d rather have a serial rapist as her baby sitter, than have Trump, Nuttyahoo, Whitkoff, Kushner, et all look after her.

If anyone believes the Israeli’s will stick to any deal, or that Trump/Bliar/Kushner have any interest in Palestinian well being or “rebuilding” Gaza, I can offer a really good deal on that bridge over the Thames.

Scott Ritter: A Palestinian Victory

Ritter says that Hamas retorted that they would be part of the new government, and Trump seemed to accept it, or not rebut it. He also said they would not disarm. Overall the plan contains much that Hamas demanded and Netanyahu has ruled out. Hence his claim of a Palestinian victory.

He is right that Hamas have their own hostages/prisoners back and the fact that Palestinians are going back to Gaza at all is not what Netanyahu was promising.

But I’m not sure what Ritter expects to happen now. Netanyahu will not accept the ‘peace’ anyway and will go back in guns blazing as soon as the cameras are gone.

The whole thing seems like a timed Trump ceremony - marred by his missing out on the fake peace prize - and he is making the best of it while Israel and the western world are making him flavour of the month.

There seems to be little lasting propaganda value in all this - the political world, like the media, like good theatre too.

Actually having watched the rest I could be wrong. Trump says Hamas is needed as police force; and he explained about the 60,000 losses as a lot of retribution. (about 5m.30 in) and the problems of 2m people going back to rubble and the need to prevent a crime centre taking shape.
An astonishing moment - actually Trump didn’t seem himself; all sensible and coherent, if just for a minute.

Meanwhile I don’t think the main media has mentioned any of this.yet, the BBC didn’t when I listened in for an hour.
