Trump demands Iran's 'unconditional surrender'

Trump demands Iran’s ‘unconditional surrender’

Iran had no nuclear weapons in development in the annual national intelligence dept review which reported in March. Netanyahu has been saying they could have them in a year, or less. Once he said “in a few days”.

If the attack on Iran was about Iran’s ‘nuclear weapons’ as the US and Israel maintain, and Iran has none then surrender means nothing.

This is very reminiscent of when Bush and Blair said that Saddam Hussian could avoid invasion by producing “all his WMD”.
This was a genius formula for war - as they knew Iraq had no WMD.

Now it seems the formula is being repeated. Iran only has to say OK we give in, we’ll show you all our nuclear weapons, and you can come in and destroy them.
And the US knows that it’s difficult to show what you don’t have - ergo, justification guaranteed.

The alarm is going round the world, mainly due to Trump’s bellicose threats.
He is also threateneing to kill Iran’s supreme leader.

Saw this on TLN. A guy runs through it coherently enough, despite being obviously rattled.

Secular Talk…MAJOR BREAKING: SOMETHING VERY VERY BAD IS HAPPENING

If attacked by the US Iran can hit Israel very hard, as well as US bases in the region, and according to some of the analysts we have seen here, more or less stop the middle east oil production.

Trump claims to know where the supreme leader is. That likely means he doesn’t, but hopes thereby to find out, or maybe bounce Iran into precipitate action that would help Trump with future legal problems. Congress hasn’t authorised war!

It could be this is ‘high stakes poker’; it’s looking clear that regime change was/is the aim, but not so clear why the US should move to it so quickly, thereby fooling precisely nobody.
Could be Netanyahu was getting jittery at Iran’s seemingly solid counterattacking resources. But whatever the reason, it looks like a very bad development.

Any US/Trump outright war justificiation, though clearly modelled on 2003, is made up of considerably more bullshit.
IMO the safest thing Iran can do is ignore the man behind the curtain and the mind games, stand firm, and concentrate on Israel

There are already B52 bombers on Diego Garcia. There are rumours of more B52’s and refuelling aircraft leaving the US. If any B52 crosses into Iranian airspace, I have no doubt they are gone. However, I believe the B52’s can carry cruise missiles and therefore potentially launch from outside Iranian airspace. I hope the Iranian “over the horizon radar” spots them and downs them quickly.

Another BBC pretence is that the US not so far directly involved. But notably, it’s US planes over Iraq and I think Jordan that are doing the refuelling of Israeli jets. It seems Israel simply couldn’t sustain even these attacks on its own, even with the US supplying the weaponry and intelligence. Direct US involvement is necessary.

I wondered about the situation in Shia-majority Iraq. During the occupation it was said that Iran’s supreme leader had to be kept sweet as a call from him would see a Shia uprising and an end to the US occupation. I wonder if Iran’s unsweetened leadership are reflecting on this now.

By contrast, Jordan is 95% Sunni Muslim.
Egypt - who is arresting pro-Palestinian protestors - has 1-2% Shia Muslim

Pieces of propaganda are everywhere.

Iraq not that sovereign, then - they must help their US masters bomb their brothers in Iran to oblivion. After all, the US has done so much for them. It gave them democracy! Oh wait a minute…

What Do We Do When President Trump Is in the Pocket of Mass Murderer Netanyahu?

What Do We Do When President Trump Is in the Pocket of Mass Murderer Netanyahu?

Paul Craig Roberts

June 17, 2025

Trump says he KNOWS that Iran is “very close to having nuclear weapons.” How does Trump KNOW this? Netanyahu told him.

What did the US intelligence community tell Trump? American intelligence told Trump that US intelligence believes “that Iran is not building a nuclear weapon and Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has not authorized the nuclear weapons program he suspended in 2003.”

But Trump doesn’t care what the US Director of National Intelligence tells him is the assessment of US intelligence. “I do not care what she [Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard] said,” Trump declared. Netanyahu knows better. So Trump supports Israeli acts of aggression against Iran and informs Iran that if they respond to acts of war the US will destroy Iran. ‘I don’t care what she said’ – Trump dismisses Tulsi Gabbard’s Iran claims — RT World News

This is the behavior of a crazy person.

Trump is a massive failure as president. He has allowed a genocidal monster to take over the foreign policy of the United States.

Trump has permitted Netanyahu to drag America to the threshold of war with Iran.

Trump has permitted the genocide of the Palestinians so that Gaza can be turned into a resort.

Trump has stood aside while someone green-lighted an attack on Russian strategic forces. Trump has no interest in discovering how such a reckless and potentially catastrophic act of war could happen.

Do the Russians sitting passively on their butts know what this means? Do the Chinese? The Indians? The Europeans? The Americans?

The Iranians are hapless. They talk a lot and do little. They stupidly announce what they are going to do before doing it, thus undermining the effectiveness of their own actions.

The designated enemies of Washington and Israel have left the initiative in the hands of Washington and Israel, and have been knocked off one by one.

In his latest crazed announcement, Netanyahu added nuclear-armed Pakistan to the list of countries to be overthrown, thereby expanding the list from 7 designated enemies of Israel to 8. So far 5 have been destroyed–Iraq, Libya, Syria, Lebanon, Somalia. A 6th–Iran–is under attack with the 7th, Saudi Arabia, waiting in the wings. And now Pakistan is added to the list.

Will Turkey be the 9th country added to the list?

The inability of Muslims to stand together doomed them. Israel has used Washington to throw Muslims into the trash bin of history.

Israel’s hold on the US government makes it impossible for Washington to represent American interests. In the entire US Congress there is only one member, Rep. Thomas Massie, who is not in Israel’s pocket. The number of Jews on the judicial bench, in executive positions in the media and finance, and on university faculties and administrations is vastly in excess of their percentage of the US population. America has had holds on appointments of white heterosexual males in order to advance DEI, but never holds on Jewish appointments. Unlike Muslims and gentiles, Jews stick together, and they align with Israel.

A country that does not control its own policies is not sovereign. The United States is not a sovereign country.

Netanyahu has started a war that Israel Cannot Win and he Has Passed the War on to Trump

Hi folks, I see that the US Spy agencies are still saying Iran is not pursuing a nuclear weapon and has not done so since 2003 :

cheers

German planes are assisting with fuel and logistics. Some dill in their puppet government said it is the least they can do as “Israel is doing our dirty work”.

Our. We.

Yes, I think they are getting hammered.

A report today (Thurs 19 Jun) indicated that Trump is uncertain about the merits of using their MOAB. He might have seen Prof Ted Postol’s talk on their abundant shortcomings. Not least the need to drop the thing perpendicularly (I simplify).

But that could be some maskirovka and the timescale is shorter. Depends also how close the Adelsons’ hit man is to Trump’s right temple. They won’t miss next time.

Don’t like to correct but the bomb in question is an MOP. Massive Ordnance Penetrator. The other is Massive Ordnance Air Burst aka Mother Of All Bombs or Daisycutter. Absolutely enormous fireball explosion. Was the largest non nuclear bang, don’t really know nowadays, things are moving quick

Rumour control says MOP can’t reach deep enough even if the approach is flawless. Needs a B2 also.

My popcorn is ready. They fed the yanks steak and lobster a few days ago. Like the condemned man gets…

Thanks for these.

“This is the behavior of a crazy person.”

That’s what it has looked like, but that’s just his personality. He has, sadly, so far gone along with the warmongers he is surrounded by. But he said today it could take a couple of weeks to decide. There must have been some reflecting going on behind the scenes. Some realities kicking in.

In this excellent interview Col. Doug McGregor explains the military situation - which makes it seem that either a bunker-busting bombing adventure or a large US assault on Iran would be bad miscalculations - then goes on to discussing the internal situation around Trump.

He isn’t crazy IMO but the craziness on show for the past few days has been walked back by somebody!

To think Trump could have had McGregor or Wilkerson advising him! But they don’t share the vi$ion of his backers.

This is from The Yorkshire Lass telegram channel. Q followers. Can easily be written off as crackers. But yet…

Just sitting back for a minute thinking about what we are actually seeing in the ME without all the hype and noise. There is a lot of hype and noise.

Here is what we know:

Trump took a wide tour of the Middle East, making deals, shaking hands, getting applauded and making peace to the very visible exclusion of Israel.

The US is taking a defensive, wait and see posture while an “enemy state” bombs our, “greatest ally.” Even the hype around the US entering the fray is about a surgical strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities. There is not a whisper of full military incursion.

Trump encouraged Iranians to evacuate Tel Aviv. He has not gone from peace maker to war monger. He respects human life and has not made an exception for Iran. He also keeps pressing for a negotiated solution.

The entire Muslim world has not formed up ranks and started marching toward Israel. There has been diplomatic support for Iran, and special visas for Iranians sitting in other countries so they don’t have to return home, but that’s about it.

Iraq has publicly asked Iran not to hit US assets on their territory.

Iran has not done anything beligerent to US troops or assets, even US installations in Iran; not even a car bomb.

This all has me wondering if the underlying reason for Trump’s Middle East tour was to prep everyone for what was coming because Trump already knew exactly how this would all play out.

Iran’s Leader el Sumpremo is in a very tough spot. He has to keep his hardline stance. Iran is no different than anyplace else. They expect certain things from their leader and the mullahs have been preaching martyrdom for Allah nonstop for decades. From an optics standpoint, Khamenei has to look like he is operating from a position of strength, but there is no guarantee that he is not secretly all about getting rid of the nuts and twigs in the Iranian government and bringing peace to his nation.

Think about all the nutty stuff Kim Jong Un says. His actions do not seem to match his rhetoric. Neither do Khamenei’s. I mean, going on six rounds of unilateral talks with, “The Great Devil in The West,” seems very counter to his constant barking and threatening.

What if Trump made everyone in the ME the offer of peace and a less threatening Israel, but Iran was the dam in the river? Their leader can’t fall in line without his batty underlings lopping off his head and moving on. With this threat of a nuclear Iran on the table there is no way forward.

Even Israel (hate to admit this), but even Israel could be operating under an offer they can’t refuse. They are losing influence and Trump could just as easily wipe them from their postage stamp in a half hour.

Trump has repeated two phrases, non-stop; Iran cannot have nukes. Iran and Israel need to make a deal. Yesterday he added this, “I was the hunted but now I’m the hunter.”

I’m just thinking that the easy explanations and assumptions are failing. When I look at what we know it all seems a well coordinated effort to bring permanent calm to the most war torn area of the world.

Thoughts?

So, what do you think of this?

LOL! Nice one, ta.

Foretold by history. Quoth the raven, Nevermore.

What crass BS. Read the Brookings Institute plan for the Middle East. Listen to Wesley Clarke (retired general) talking about the plan to, “Take out seven countries in five years”. Then perhaps have a dialogue about whether the orange gorilla is doing anything of script. Even if he wanted to, I think it was Max Blumenthal who that said Adleson has so many hit men at her command that Trump would be too scared to even think about hurting Israehell.

I’m well aware of the plan. And I know Wesley too. He nearly started WW3 and thankfully we said “Not a chance”

This doesn’t change the fact that he didn’t visit Israel and they aren’t really doing that much to stop rhe bombardment.

I’m cynical of most things, but it’s confusing considering everything must be done to save the occupied territories.

I saw trailer for a documentary earlier called See In The Dark. I suspect it’s right up your street. Will see if I can find a useful link for you.

Edit.

Good luck whacking Trump right now

Yup that’s the gizmo, knew it was massive something.

I suspect USrael will “be forced” to try a tactical nuke. I mean these things have to be beta tested somehow, right?

The Pak-Ind spat was another beta test of course. Apparently Chinese kit did rather well.

The documentary. €49…
