The good CraigM displaying his amazing capacity for naivety again

Much as I continue to like him for his basic decency, and his capacity to describe useful insights when he actually has them, I just had to stop reading this piece half way through; it’s just so - wilfully - naive.

You have to wonder whether the people who first raised him to ambassador status didn’t eventually decide they’d pulled a boo-boo not just because - quite rightly - he wouldn’t toe the amoral ruthless realpolitik line of the FandC Office, but also because he can sometimes be such a blind mooncalf.

Anyone who doesn’t get the imperative pressures which VVPutin has laid out so plainly in his recent speeches, to do something decisive about what the Anglozionist empire and its NAT-underlings have been doing on Russia’s borders, is simply being wilfully blind; and making an ass of him/herself into the bargain.

Once again dear Craig has demonstrated that he’s behind the curve with the new reality, spelled out so much more savvily by Alexander Mercouris at ‘The Duran’: that the Az-empire’s unipolar moment is now at an end, demonstrated conclusively precisely by the fuming, raging impotence they’re displaying right now, at being completely unable to do anything substantive to counter this Russian geopolitical stroke - with China’s quiet backing. Poor old Craig:

Two quick points here against Mr Murray:

Firstly, in not much more than a day it seems that the Russians have taken out most of the Ukraine military; they (Russians) are not “bogged down”. I’ve also yet to see any convincing evidence that civilians are being targeted (?).

Secondly, by far the biggest opposition force in Russia is the Communist Party. If Putin and United Russia lose the next election the communists will take control. This never gets mentioned.

Anyhows, I don’t pretend to have a complete understanding of what’s happening right now. If you put the pieces of the jigsaw together it still doesn’t make sense.

At the time of writing, Murray is getting a hammering in the (heavily censored) reader’s comments.

You’re right Rhis. Even some random American on Youtube  gets what is going on (without any real understanding of the global background)

Oh dear. He literally spells out the Russian case, and says he understands and respects why the country feels threatened, and then does the BIG LEFTY BUT to argue that there is no case at all. Whataboutery on a grand scale. Haven’t read the BTL yet, gonna dive in now.

Loving the CloudFlare virtue signal as the page loads. Let me translate: “I’m being targeted by Bad Black Hat Hacker Putinistas”. Of course you are Craig.

There was a great discussion on Consortium News with Scott Ritter, Mark SLeboda, Tony Kevin and Alexander Mercouris, none of whom doubted the “correctness” of Putin’s decision or the degree of provocation Russia has endured to force this. Their only disagreement was on predicting the plan - but then it must be flexible to some degree, however well-planned it is.
But I’m beginning to wonder if it actually can “succeed”, thanks to the sheer malevolence of Western powers who are feeding so much shite to Ukrainians that they believe they will be wiped out if they don’t fight “for their country” (one without ethnic Russians?) Sarah Rainsford, since being chucked out of Moscow for impudence, now reports on groups of women with children sitting around with nothing to do after their menfolk have been conscripted, and using their kitchen grating skills to fill bottles with polystyrene, ready to be filled with petrol.
These they will presumably throw at Russian servicemen if they see any, who may well shoot them dead in return. Rainsford will then be able to interview their desolate husbands after they have decided to surrender their weapons to the Russians.

I begin to feel that the rational and peace-loving Russians have overestimated the chance of redemption from Western leaders, and the intensity of their hatred - such as are prepared to bring Europe to its knees when Russia refuses to supply essential goods unless it is paid for them. …

The loonies running the Western empire may well detest their opponents in Russia (and China). But the point that’s being demonstrated so graphically right now is that there’s nothing effectual that they can do to prevent the slide into anti-globalist multipolarity, with their own arrogant hege-wings severely clipped in the process.

That’s why they’re reduced to ‘sanctions’, carefully half-baked, with small-print getouts to try to avoid the horrendous damage that they would do to the Western gics’ own interests, as blowback. Add to those bad jokes the acres and acres of screeching propaganda lies, as the only other - equally ballsless - response that they have; also ultimately ineffectual, however much frothing hysteria they might fluff up briefly amongst the screen-hypnotised troobleevers in the West.

Watching that video of the Security Council meeting in the Kremlin, with all VVP’s chief crew, one after another, saying: ‘Yes, do it!’ it’s clear to me beyond much doubt that the Russians have planned carefully, and will shrug off all these straw-spears, the ‘sanctions’ and the lie-screeching, without much in the way of difficulty.

Meanwhile, they’ll continue what they’re really doing: pushing forward with their slowish, careful taking of control of the Ukraine, taking care to do as little damage as possible to the ordinary citizens, their property and their civil infrastructure, so as to avoid making them hostile. They’re even doing - as also predicted by the reality-connected commentators - careful treatment of any ordinary conscript soldier in the Ukrainian military who will lay down arms and surrender: treating them well, giving them food and lodging, getting a signature from each that they will not engage again in hostile acts against Russia, and then setting them free to go home.

As this ‘soft invasion’ - as Scott Ritter describes it - proceeds, they’re hunting or simply killing in battle only the nazi criminals and lunatics, pushing forward effectively with their determination to make a denazified Ukraine neutral territory, with no Az weapons or military personnel in the country. Also - very strikingly - they’re demonstrating to the entire world (yet again! Apparently 08.08.08 in Georgia wasn’t clear enough) that they can and will take drastic, decisive military action - quietly backed to the hilt by China - against anyone who moves to threaten Russia and Russians seriously. Which of course is what the Anglozionist-empire/NATO bloc have been doing incrementally for years, to the point where it was ultimate decision time for Vlad’s bunch.

The delusional fools in the Swamp have been pushing themselves towards this punch in the mouth for years; and now they’ve got it, and they’re on their arses, wondering what hit them. Reality, babes! Wake up to it: your time as world-bully is over.

As VVP famously said, speaking of a lesson learned in tough Leningrad when he was boy: ‘When you know a fight is inevitable, strike first!’ For twenty years he’s restrained his own advice, trying to be peaceable, realistic and diplomatic. The Swampies took that as ‘weakness’, to be exploited. And now they’ve received the ‘strike first’; with nothing in their own locker with which to respond, as they’re discovering to their consternation. Hence all the truly hysterical tsunami of lie-screeching.

Utterly shite analysis from CM - I mean, wtf is this;

Casualty figures being given for the whole of the Ukraine so far are still in the hundreds, and thank God for that.

obviously the 14k slaughtered in the Donbas these last 7 years don’t count?! This is a problem I’m, and I’m sure yous, are encountering when debating people about this - - the clock starts the moment Russian tanks crossed the border a few days back - - nothing that happened prior matters - - in fact, to cite Pinter yet again, ‘it never happened…even when it was happening’.

Another thing that’s really very disturbing is the way people wave away any mention of the Ukronazis - ‘oh that’s nonsense…it’s just 2% that are nazis’…yes, but it’s that tiny faction, tooled-up and emboldened by their support from the west, that have been laying waste to, and slaughtering people in the Donbas - - I’ve been pointing this out to people, and they simply blankly stare back - they haven’t the foggiest about what they are being told - - there’s zero recognition of that which people in the East have been enduring - - there’s a heck of a lot of bluster, and frankly faux-concern about ‘Ukraianian’ people in general - but sorry to say, pretty much everybody I’ve heard expressing concern about ‘Ukrainians’ are phonies - they appear to only ‘care’ about the people they are directed to ‘care’ about - - same old, same old - - worthy and unworthy victims

Yes, discussions around Ukraine with, ahem, “civilised” friends (i.e. those who don’t like rocking the boat and essentially follow the mainstream narrative) are difficult and reminiscent of discussing COVID! The emotions quickly run high, with Ukrainians seen as victims (before it was the old and vulnerable) and the sense of urgency to do something palpable. Counter narratives are, as before, ridiculed, or seen as pro-Putin, or disinformation.

What’s funny is how TLN is back on track (mostly) with some good points made. Margo made an interesting tongue-in-cheek remark about the lack of masks The Lifeboat News .
Indeed, what about the deadly disease stalking the lands? Ukrainian refugees are welcome everywhere suddenly. Truly remarkable compassion…

Usuk and Ukraine are getting exactly what they deserve. However, whatever CraigM’s blind spots, are we (used very loosely) too suffering from a blind spot.

The Western 1st world countries are all bankrupt. They need a war as an excuse to use as blame for the impending complete collapse of the banking system. Putin, as much as I admire him as a statesman, leaves me with some lingering doubts.
a) He was a WEF Young Global Leaders alumni
b) He is (IMHO) overly friendly with Israel
c) There have been rumours of gold leaving Russia since the start of the plandemic
d) Their “Sputnik” jab and actions over lockdown lend weight to supporting the WEF agenda

So here’s hoping the Ukronazis and their Usuk puppets get a bloody nose but that we don’t all look like we’ve been suckered.

And a late edit, to quote from The Saker as posted by @Bob_sYourUncle here

Apparently, as I write these lines, I learn that Europe and the USA will freeze Russian foreign exchange reserves in Euros and dollars. This is a declaration of economic war that should cause Russia to stop exporting energy to Europe or the USA, which could trigger a global crash.

I’m think I may be with you on this, Pat.

As a matter of course I speak to events within the conventional paradigm - essentially it’s lip-service to explanations as evinced in the array of media, be it from the main, or seemingly uncompromised sources - such as this place. Now, being careful to read wider and delve deeper places one in a position that may be perceived as being more informed than yer average punter; that is those with a single reliance on msm sources. Hence, having ‘paid attention’ I find I’m debating people with no deep insight - they essentially parrot the baseline talking points - - try as you might, you’ll seldom, if ever break through their propaganda-addled take on events. I now very rarely enter online spats - I can’t recall a single time when I reckon I’ve actually changed anybody’s ‘misguided’ view on a particular event. But then am I really better informed, or have I simply taken in a wider variety of poison that has been made available by those in control. Whatever, it does at a minimum create another kind of divide - that between the notionally stupefied and those that may appear ‘more informed’. The manifold ways in which the inhumans divide us is perhaps their most effective weapon - - that seems clear enough, and is evidenced by the speed-up of the divisive tactics - - - we’ve reached something of a nadir (can we sink lower? - let’s see) with this recent proposition that effectively pushes the idea that there is no difference between those things we thought were men and women - - now isn’t that a masterstroke!

Here lies my dilemma. I don’t actually believe the conventional paradigm truly represents the way the world actually works. ‘All the world’s a stage - and all the men and women merely players’ is about the size of it imo. I’ve pretty much concluded that the inhumans in control of the world have for the large part had that control for several hundred years at least. I think the monstrous ‘elite’ that control things will allow for anything that ensures that they retain their control - - world wars are nothing to these creatures - 1 million…10 million…100 million dead from war, famine, pestilence is no matter to them - I really do believe that we are literally just stock in their eyes - no amount of human suffering will ever trouble them - I’m sure that at every turn they’d consider that the ‘the price is worth it’ (to coin a demented phrase).

How this great game really plays out remains a mystery to me and many questions arise - I reckon by the time (touch wood) I reach that 3 score and 10 I may have worked it all out…I’ll get back to you then ; )
